Rules

1.     Registration is by boat, not by angler. Any change or transfer to another boat must be made prior to 6:00 a.m. on the fishing day.

2.      Boats will be issued and must display a Tournament Number visible on both sides of boat throughout the tournament.

3.      All boats must box check at Trump Marina, Seaview Harbor, Utsch’s or Key Harbor between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. No boat may leave inlet prior to 6:00 am. NO BOX CHECK, NO WEIGH IN!!!

4.      Fishing will begin at 6:00 a.m. and will end at 2:00 p.m. The official time will be announced on channels 69, 72 and 78

5.      All fish shall be weighed-in at Trump Marina, Seaview Harbor, Utsch’s or Key Harbor between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contact Sea Tow on 69 (Cape May), 72 (AC), 78 (Great Egg) and 69 (Waretown) when ready to weigh-in. If no fish to weigh, you must let them know. Fish to be weighed in must be in the onion bag when boat ties up at weigh-in dock. Only 1 crew member to accompany 3 heaviest fish to scale.

6.      All fish must be played by female anglers, but can be leadered to the boat by the mate. The registered female angler may be assisted during battle or hand off the rod but only to or by another registered female angler.

7.      No more than 6 anglers per boat. Each boat may have a maximum of 6 lines in the water including teasers. All I.G.F.A. rules apply as well as fair sportsmanship with the exception of downriggers, planers and line planers. Dead bait and lures may also be used but no live bait, chunking or jigging allowed. This is strictly a trolling tournament.

8.      If a smallcraft warning is declared at any port, tournament is postponed until Sunday. Weather committee will make the announcement by 6:00 a.m. Fishing on Sunday will start one hour earlier. Box check: between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., fishing will end at 1:00 p.m. and weigh-in is between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

9.      No refunds of fees, for any cause, will be made.

10.   Channel 69 (Cape May), 72 (A.C.), 78 (Great Egg) and 69 (Waretown) will be the official L.I.B.T. channel for communications. If any boat experiences problems, Down Deep (69), Carly A (72) or Super S (78).

11.   The tournament committee and official weigh master serve as judge. Their decision shall be final. This committee shall have 2 female members and one male member. All protests must be presented to the tournament committee by end of weigh-in. All fish weighed-in are subject to examination by tournament committee. Heaviest fish of each boat will be retained and examined by committee. Any weight protest must be made while fish is on scale.
